Tralee is the county town of Kerry and its largest town, with about 26,000 people, set at the head of Tralee Bay on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula. Frequently asked questions about sending flowers to Tralee
Will University Hospital Kerry accept a bouquet for a patient?
Usually yes, but check with the ward first, as some units do not take fresh flowers. Name the ward on the order. If flowers are not allowed, have them delivered to the home for when the patient gets out.
Is delivery busier during the Rose of Tralee festival?
The festival in August brings large crowds and road closures in the town centre. Deliveries continue, but allow extra time for a specific day that week and add a phone number so the driver can reach the recipient.
What about Fenit, Ardfert and the other villages near Tralee?
Yes. Villages around Tralee Bay and north Kerry are covered as well. Use the Eircode, since many homes in the area are identified by townland, and pick a day ahead if the flowers must arrive for an occasion.
