About SendFlowers.ie
Why this site exists
Choosing flowers for someone in another town is harder than it should be. You don’t know the florist, you can’t see the stems, and you often have a deadline: a christening on Saturday, a removal tomorrow evening, Mam’s day in March. SendFlowers.ie was built to take some of the guesswork out of that, with plain advice and an easy route to a local florist.
We write for people in Ireland, about the occasions that matter here, from Mothering Sunday and Valentine’s to hospital visits and funerals.
What happens when you order
Pick a bouquet and you are taken to the florist’s own checkout, where you choose the day, write the card and pay. The flowers are made up and delivered by florists in Ireland. Everything about the purchase itself is covered in the terms and conditions.
- Bouquets for birthdays, babies, weddings, sympathy and get-well wishes
- A checkout where you pick the date and add your own message
- Secure payment on the florist’s page
- Delivery by a florist near the recipient
What you will find here besides bouquets
A good gift also needs good information. Alongside the bouquets we publish:
- Guides to individual flowers, from roses and tulips to hydrangeas
- Notes on funeral etiquette, wakes and when flowers are better left out
- Practical care advice for keeping a vase looking good through a heated Irish winter
- A flower FAQ with direct answers on dates, addresses and wording

Choose a townWhere to begin
If you already know who the flowers are for, go to the town pages and pick the nearest one. If you are still deciding what to buy, the flower catalogue and the guides will help you narrow it down.
The small print lives on the terms and privacy pages, and if you would rather ask first, get in touch.
